ISC’s team of Hospitality Recruiters has been retained by a leading and highly ranked Hotel Management Group on an exciting General Manager opportunity. Our client’s 115-room mountain resort near Idaho Springs requires a passionate and community-minded General Manager possessing the drive to coordinate activities and budgets for the Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering and Sales, as well as optimizing both revenue and guest satisfaction.
This is a fantastic position for a collaborative and guest-centric hospitality leader with resort experience and a track record of successful owner relations. Our client is stable and growing and the General Manager will have the opportunity to directly supervise the executive committee and oversee the day-to-day operations with a hands-on approach to exemplifying effective leadership and demonstrating a keen passion for guest satisfaction.
General Manager Requirements- To qualify, you should have the following:
- Have held a minimum of 2 roles as a General Manager with some Resort experience a plus
- Independent Hotel experience a plus
- Solid understanding of influencing RevPAR, Guest Satisfaction and Employee Satisfaction
- Demonstrated track record of YOY hotel revenue growth, driving rates, financial acumen and effective use of marketing dollars
- Ability to manage and motivate staff/cross-functional groups with respectful and clear communication, training, mentoring, developing talent and coaching
- Drive to balance department efficiency and excellent guest service
- Competency utilizing Choice
- Availability during peak operating hours/special events

General Manager Responsibilities- The duties for the role are as follows:
- Effectively manage day-to-day operations for approximately 115 room and suite resort property located next to a Mountain Ski Resort in the Idaho Springs, CO area
- Drive both guest and employee satisfaction.
- Collaborate on revenue strategy and driving rates for maximum yield
- Spearhead owner relationships and communication, including financial reporting and maintenance requests
- Possess a natural drive to represent the property in the community
- Proactive and comprehensive use of marketing dollars
