Deputy Associate Director of Manufacturing

What You’ll Do:  

  • Coordinate with facilities to implement production processes and acquire necessary equipment.
  • Lead the life cycle management of production equipment and ensure resource availability.
  • Drive a culture of engagement and accountability within the Manufacturing Directorate.
  • Oversee supply chain and inventory management functions and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Align operating standards and processes across multiple manufacturing facilities to achieve maximum efficiency.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Background investigation and favorable adjudication are required.
  • Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level, including:
  • Directing manufacturing/production processes and ensuring quality.
  • Managing manufacturing/production schedules and projects.
  • Providing oversight and accountability for production assets and personnel.
  • Implementing continuous improvements and analyzing manufacturing methods.
  • Calculating production costs and estimating future requirements.
  • Developing strategic plans for staffing, technology, and resources.
  • Specialized experience at the GS-14 level or equivalent, in manufacturing/production or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing manufacturing/production schedules, projects, and milestones.
  • Proven leadership in achieving manufacturing goals and objectives.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to analyze and plan for workflow and process improvements.

Salary

  • The targeted salary range for this position is $163,964k- $191,900k per year.
