Senior Geotechnical Engineer wanted for local Northern Colorado consulting firm. P.E. or E.I.T. required with a minimum of 4 of years experience in design level geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary combined with excellent leadership ability. Duties will include management of field and office personnel while monitoring schedules, scopes and budgets, marketing and business development including composition and presentation of work proposals, determination of methods of testing and report formats, composition and review of subsurface exploration and construction materials testing reports., lead technical teams in the performance of geotechnical investigations and analyses (field investigations, laboratory testing, settlement estimates, lateral earth pressure evaluation, shallow and deep foundation design recommendations, and ground improvement assessments). recruit, train, and review personnel, oversee development and implementation in-house training and quality programs, conduct performance appraisal for personnel under supervision, set priorities for execution of work, perform administrative duties including but not limited to reviewing invoicing and collecting outstanding accounts, perform strategic planning to develop new services and secure clients to ensure growth, represent company within technical/professional organizations, develop and maintain new clients and business relationships, pursue specific project leads, aid in company marketing functions, perform research of testing methods and equipment use by the office, evaluate and review our methods to keep services competitive and current.
