Located in the heart of Auburn, Alabama, our hotel is known for its exceptional service, luxurious accommodations, and stunning views of Auburn University's campus. Our culinary offerings include room service, breakfast and lunch café, banquet and event division, and a top-floor restaurant, all dedicated to providing our guests with unforgettable gastronomic experiences.


We are currently seeking an experienced and innovative Director of Food and Beverage to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of our dining establishments. The ideal candidate should have a distinguished career in the luxury hotel industry, possess excellent attention to detail, prioritize guest satisfaction, and be able to pioneer advancements in food and beverage services.


As Director of Food and Beverage your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the General Manager to devise and execute strategic initiatives aimed at bolstering revenue, elevating guest satisfaction, and upholding uncompromising standards of excellence throughout our dining venues.
  • Provide visionary leadership to our food and beverage team, spearheading recruitment, training, and mentorship initiatives to ensure optimal service delivery and performance.
  • Work closely with our culinary experts to craft inventive and diverse menus that resonate with contemporary culinary trends, cater to guest preferences, and drive profitability.
  • Establish and enforce rigorous standard operating procedures for food and beverage service, guaranteeing uniformity, excellence, and compliance with health and safety protocols.
  • Continuously refine and enhance guest experiences through attentive service, personalized interactions, and proactive resolution of guest feedback.
  • Take charge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance within our food and beverage operations, striving to maximize revenue, minimize expenses, and optimize profitability.
  • Lead the planning and execution of banquets, events, and catering services, collaborating seamlessly with clients, vendors, and internal teams to surpass guest expectations.
  • Foster positive partnerships with suppliers and vendors, sourcing premium ingredients, products, and services at competitive rates.
  • Ensure adherence to pertinent health, safety, and sanitation standards, as well as liquor licensing regulations and other legal mandates.


Qualifications for the Director of Food and Beverage:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in food and beverage management, ideally within a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership prowess, with a proven track record of assembling and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and cost control, coupled with a keen business acumen.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, adept at engaging with guests, colleagues, and stakeholders across all levels.
  • Innate creativity coupled with a fervent dedication to culinary excellence, innovation, and guest satisfaction.
  • Comprehensive understanding of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory standards.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.


Director of Food and Beverage Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000.
