Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Customer Application Leader to join our client's team. This role is critical in bridging the gap between our customers and our product development teams, ensuring that customer needs and applications are thoroughly understood and integrated into our manufacturing processes and products. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary technical liaison between customers and internal teams, including engineering, product development, and sales.
  • Understand and analyze customer requirements and applications to provide tailored solutions and product recommendations.
  • Lead the development and implementation of customer-specific applications, ensuring they align with company capabilities and strategic goals.
  • Manage and resolve complex technical issues, providing expert guidance and support to both customers and internal teams.
  • Conduct customer site visits to gain deep insights into application needs and operational environments.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in product design, performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and competitor offerings to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Support the sales team in pre-sales activities, including technical discussions and proposal development.
  • Foster strong, long-term relationships with key customers, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a technical or customer-facing role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing customer applications and delivering tailored technical solutions.
  • Strong technical background with a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with customers and support field activities.
