Director/Associate Director, Digital Marketing

The Associate Director, Digital Marketing is a pivotal member of our marketing team, focused on elevating our digital marketing capabilities for ZORYVE, along with subsequent products. This role will help position Arcutis as a trusted partner within the dermatology community, enhancing healthcare professional (HCP) and digital consumer awareness and loyalty through strategic digital marketing initiatives. Reporting to the Executive Director of Marketing, this position collaborates closely with team members and key cross-functional partners—including Commercial Operations, Sales, Market Access, Medical, and other relevant business units—to optimize brand and portfolio performance.


Core Job Responsibilities


  • Develop and Implement Digital Strategies: Lead the creation, execution, and long-term roadmap of the digital marketing strategy and tactical plans to ensure a continued growth across all ZORYVE markets, aiming to exceed corporate objectives.
  • Lead Media Execution and Corresponding Content Strategy/Experiences: Oversee the development and execution of cross-channel media plan development, execution, and optimization along with the corresponding content and segmentation strategy. Partner closely with brand team on strategy buy-in and pull through of content strategy/creation to drive product adoption among HCPs and Consumer audiences.
  • Track and Optimize Campaign Performance: Set campaign goals, track KPIs in partnership with agencies and analytics teams, and communicate insights for campaign optimization. Partner closely with the brand and Digital IT team to further shape grow our reporting capabilities. Utilize data-driven insights to continuously refine and improve digital marketing efforts.
  • Collaborative Execution: Collaborate across commercial, medical, and with legal, regulatory and compliance stakeholders to ensure compliant development of execution of all strategies and tactics. Foster a culture of strategic thinking and tactical execution among team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Manage Agency Relationships: Coordinate with agencies to manage all digital marketing efforts, including media agency, select media partners, analytics partners (i.e. Crossix), and technology partners (i.e. SFMC). Effectively Manage partner roadmaps and maintain relationships.
  • Drive Adoption of Digital Tools: When introducing new decision tools or technologies, partner with Digital IT to roll-out and drive successful utilization of these tools and platforms.
  • Stay Informed: Keep abreast of industry trends affecting digital marketing workstreams and the broader digital landscape. Own the development and dissemination of technology POVs. Encourage innovation and experimentation to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
  • Budget and Contract Management: Successfully manage the digital marketing budget, measure results, and consistently refine tactics to maximize performance and ROI.

Education & Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing, healthcare consulting, or healthcare agency experience, with a focus on omnichannel strategy and digital marketing preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing budgets and optimizing marketing spend for maximum impact.
  • Proven skills in strategic and critical thinking in dynamic and face paced environments
  • Experience in dermatology products strongly preferred
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Proven ability to influence without authority and work with cross-functional teams in the development and delivery of brand strategic imperatives
  • Proven ability in managing external agencies and vendors
  • Proven project / program management experience
