Paid Social Director
Location: NYC- Hybrid
We are a top-tier global media agency seeking a dynamic and driven Paid Social Media Director to lead our paid social media client engagements. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a dedicated account team and crafting program strategies that align seamlessly with our clients' goals. We are looking for a candidate who is deeply passionate about social media, self-motivated, and incredibly detail-oriented. Experience working with luxury clients and being at the forefront of media trends is a plus.
- Lead medium to enterprise-sized client accounts, including the development of comprehensive strategies encompassing account structure, audience targeting, channel selection, creative direction, and more.
- Serve as the go-to expert for paid social campaigns, delivering insights and optimizations to drive business objectives.
- Inject creativity, innovation, and fresh ideas into the execution of social media campaigns.
- Promote data-driven decision-making, leveraging insights to refine strategies.
- Be accountable for project timelines, ensuring the quality of client deliverables, and managing budgets effectively.
- Mentor and guide execution support team members, fostering their career growth and identifying skill gaps.
- Execute, optimize, and report on paid social campaigns across various platforms.
- Analyze client reports and enhance strategies based on real-time and historical campaign results.
- Navigate client challenges while maintaining trust and fostering strong client relationships.
- Participate in client meetings to review results and plan next steps.
- Collaborate effectively with team members on multiple strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to social media audits and support business development presentations.
- 3-5 years of experience managing paid social campaigns across major platforms, including Meta, TikTok, Snap, Pinterest, & LinkedIn.
- Advanced knowledge of primary social media channels and a keen eye for emerging trends.
- Proficiency in analyzing social campaign and creative performance data to drive KPI improvements.
- Ability to provide creative insights and recommendations based on performance data.
- Proven experience in crafting strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally to achieve organizational goals.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective problem-solving abilities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to excel in a team environment.
- Strategic thinker with a positive attitude, a passion for collaboration, and an openness to new challenges.
- Proficiency in analyzing data and recommending optimizations and forward strategies.
- Familiarity with Facebook Ads Manager; experience with other ad platforms is a plus.
- Experience managing a minimum of 2-3 direct reports.
Preferred but Not Required:
- BA/BS degree preferred.
- Meta Blueprint Certification.
- Agency experience.
- Experience coordinating social campaigns with major publishing partners, such as Conde Nast.
