Location: 100% Remote

Compensation: $100,000 - $140,000 per year

Position Overview: As a Senior Dam Engineer, you will play a critical role in the planning, design, and construction oversight of dam projects. This position offers the flexibility of working entirely remote while being based out of our Clearwater, FL office. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful completion of projects, adhering to the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, design, and construction oversight of dam engineering projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, structural, geotechnical, and environmental engineers, to develop comprehensive project plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to dam safety and water resources.
• Utilize advanced engineering software, including AutoCAD and Civil 3D, to create detailed design documents.
• Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and risk analyses to inform project decisions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project staff.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to present project findings and recommendations.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
• Extensive experience in dam engineering, including planning, design, and construction oversight.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to dam safety and water resources.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated project management experience and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
