Due to increasing client demand and rapid growth, we’re adding highly motivated, sales-oriented executive recruiting professionals to our team on a remote / virtual basis or if preferred, at our headquarters in the thriving South Slope brewery district of downtown Asheville, NC.

 

The Executive Recruiter role will focus on executing assigned search engagements: sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessing and placing candidates with our diverse portfolio of client companies throughout the United States. This sales-oriented position requires frequent use of the phone, internet and various recruitment technologies to research and engage with existing and prospective clients and candidates who work within Supply Chain Management, Logistics & Transportation, Distribution & Warehousing, Manufacturing, Strategic Sourcing & Procurement, Inventory Planning, Continuous Improvement, Quality, Operations and related disciplines.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Leverage best-in-class candidate sourcing and recruitment processes, tools and technologies to source and recruit top talent to fill permanent, direct hire openings in a timely manner with our client companies
  • Manage the end-to-end sourcing and recruitment process which includes gathering job requirements, developing and executing creative sourcing &
  • recruitment strategies, interviewing & assessing job applicants, candidate slate
  • development and presentation, offer negotiation, etc.
  • Develop and foster relationships with supply chain candidates via phone, networking, supply chain associations, social media sites (LinkedIn in particular), our resume database and many other sourcing channels
  • Stay abreast of new and developing trends, tools and technology within the recruiting and staffing industry in efforts to enhance the company’s sourcing and recruitment processes, systems, toolkit, etc.
  • Develop and maintain service-oriented relationships with current and new clients
  • Assist the company with our Inbound and Outbound Marketing efforts which includes sales pipeline research and development along with various Content Marketing strategies such as writing, publishing and socializing content e.g. blog posts, monthly newsletter, webinars, social media, etc.

 

Ideal Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; advanced degree is a plus
  • Results-oriented, money-motivated work ethic with a competitive drive to be the best
  • Professional work experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • supply chain management, sourcing/procurement, manufacturing, operations or related, with a strong desire to move into a sales-oriented, client-facing executive recruiting role, focused on the “talent” side of supply chain;
  • B2B sales experience, preferably with a services or solution oriented company e.g. 3PL services, management consulting, logistics, etc.
  • recruiting experience within supply chain, logistics & transportation, warehousing & distribution, sourcing & procurement, manufacturing, operations or related
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills required
  • Ability to build, develop and maintain effective relationships at all levels within client companies and with candidates
  • Strong business acumen, attention to detail and professionalism is a must
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Creative, strategic, entrepreneurial and growth mindset


Compensation

SCM Talent Group provides a wealth-generating compensation package consisting of a base salary, uncapped commission plans, company-matching 401K retirement plan, healthcare benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc.), maternity & paternity leave, and more. Relocation assistance to Asheville, NC can be available as well.
