Hello Hire is excited to be leading this search for an outstanding architecture firm in the Cincinnati area!


Position Overview: Responsible for the output and production of finished surveying and engineering plats and documents. Responsible for computer input and analysis of field surveying data required for a "field to finish" product.


Primary Accountabilities

  • Skilled and proficient with coordinate geometry (COGO) and its application in resolving survey related problems including input of field data.
  • Skilled and proficient in the use of Autocad Civil 3D and or current program in use at the time.
  • Prepares finished plats using the current computer programs and traditional drafting techniques including but not limited to boundary, topographic and ALTA Land Title Surveys.
  • Familiar with field surveying procedure so that there is an understanding of field collected data and its use in the preparation of finished drawings.
  • Assists and participates in the orderly presentation of boundary data for resolution of property lines with a registered surveyor.
  • Prepares legal descriptions of resolved boundary areas, including calculated easements and dedications.
  • Communicates the need for field data with field personnel and is able to interpret such data.
  • Responsible for calculations required for construction stakeout.
  • Communicates with project engineer/project manager to resolve conflicts and uncertainties
  • as they relate to calculations required for construction stakeout.
  • Capable of answering and asking questions of the client in a professional manner when such occasion may arise.
  • Familiar with requirements, standards and regulations governing the information to be included on a wide variety of survey and engineering drawings.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Core Qualifications

  • Associate degree in surveying or comparable experience.
  • Two years of experience.
