Position Overview


The Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Manager will utilize data and analytics to provide essential business insights and decision support to key stakeholders. This role covers a wide range of processes and initiatives, including comprehensive company-wide analysis and consolidation, contributing to external financial reporting and investor relations, overseeing company-wide planning and forecasting, and assisting with strategic planning efforts.


Responsibilities


- Lead annual budget and monthly forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

- Develop and present analyses to support decision-making processes, optimize expenses, and track core business metrics, driving better decisions and results. Analyze outcomes and communicate opportunities for improvements and potential risks.

- Create meaningful analyses and presentation materials on budgets, forecasts, and strategy for the Executive Leadership Team, including variance analysis between actual results and budget, forecast, and strategy.

- Identify opportunities to digitize, automate, and enhance existing processes, including technological improvements and streamlined data management.

- Implement best practices in financial planning, reporting, and analysis to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

- Coordinate across geographically dispersed business units and support functions.

- Provide strategic advice to relevant business partners based on the analysis of underlying business drivers and their impact on financial results and forecasts.

- Manage and lead ad hoc finance projects as requested, proactively analyzing numbers and suggesting improvements.

- Stay informed of competitor and market information, reviewing company financial results in the context of these factors.

- Conduct detailed financial analyses to support strategic initiatives, providing actionable insights and recommendations based on financial performance and market trends.

- Manage direct reports, including training and developing team members, setting clear performance goals, providing regular feedback, and mentoring.


Basic Qualifications


- 10+ years of experience in a similar role at the Senior Manager level.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.

- Proficient in intelligence systems such as OneStream, Hyperion, Cognos, PowerBI, or Tableau.

- Advanced proficiency in Excel.

- MBA, CFA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent preferred.
