Sr. Accountant (Credit Fund)

A growing and branded buy-side firm (in the PE/Credit space) is looking to add to its team. This role will be working closely with several controllers and will be a strategic member of the firm. If you are looking to not only manage existing funds but also assist in launching a new fund then this will be an excellent opportunity to be part of this growth phase. The role will participate in the following:

• Assist in building out processes to support new funds and accounts
• Drive process improvements and enhance current reporting
• Month end close
• NAV Calculations
• Investor calls/distributions/allocations
• Contribute and support Publi qs and Ks
• Investor Reporting
• Work cross-functionally with Tax, finance, legal and operations

Experience:

• 4+ years of accounting experience
• Public Accounting, audit experience
• BS/BA, CPA preferred but not a must
• Private credit and/or BDC experience a plus
• Understanding of loan origination or PE style/commitment-based funds and various performance metrics (e.g. ROE, IRR, MoM)
