Accounting Manager

Norwalk, CT (Hybrid)

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000

Experience: 6+ years


As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for applying accounting principles to analyze financial information, prepare accurate financial reports, and ensure proper accounting control procedures are in place.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP standards.
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements for two subsidiary companies.
  • Establish and monitor accounting control procedures.
  • Maintain financial records in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Prepare financial management reports and meet reporting deadlines.
  • Assist subsidiary companies with questions and resolve issues.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and review accuracy.
  • Coordinate intercompany processes.
  • Prepare for financial audits and support audit process.
  • Analyze financial information and provide strategic recommendations.
  • File monthly sales tax returns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA desired.
  • 6+ years of related experience, with Public Accounting experience required.
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software (Sage Intacct preferred), Payroll Systems (ADP Workforce Now), Spreadsheet Software (Excel), Word Processing Software (Word), Presentation Software (PowerPoint), and Visio Proprietary Software.
