Our client, a leader in simulation technology, is in search of a dedicated Senior Software Engineer specializing in C++. This role demands a candidate who excels in programming, adapts quickly to new technologies, navigates efficiently through existing code, and collaborates effectively within a team to meet project timelines. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in liaising with both the technical team and product management to drive the development of state-of-the-art simulation products.
📚 Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or possesses equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in software development with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming, particularly in C++.
- Capable of crafting superior software designs and architectural solutions.
- Proficient in task management, from identification through to execution.
- Experience with software development on both Windows and Linux platforms.
- Able to operate both independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, along with strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
- Must be eligible to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
👨🏽💻 Tech Stack:
- Background in developing and supporting commercial C++ software development kits.
- Knowledge of Python for Unreal Engine.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning.
- Experience using Docker.
- Previous work on game engines such as Unreal or Unity.
- Experience within the defense sector, including roles with defense contractors or military exposure.
