Software Systems Engineer (Hybrid) – Orlando, FL

Position Overview:

Engenium is seeking a Software Systems Engineer to design and develop software for simulator systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software for controlling simulator systems using C/C++, and shell scripting in Linux.

• Debug and configure training systems to meet requirements.

• Collaborate with project teams and engineers to deliver new or updated functionalities.

• Assist with software and hardware integration.

• Communicate project progress to stakeholders and management.

• Mentor and guide junior team members.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in C, C++, or C#, scripting (Python, Bash, or Powershell)
• Version control systems (Git or SVN).
• Strong analytical math skills.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.

Employment Requirements:

• Must be a US citizen.

• Ability to pass an initial background check and obtain a DoD security clearance.

• Willingness to travel for system installation and troubleshooting.

• Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing.
