Our client is seeking to hire a dynamic Business Development Director to grow an established division within this well-established training company. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business, capturing markets, proposal management, proposal writing, and pricing support within the Simulation & Training industry. The role:


• Develop a marketing plan targeting business opportunities that align with the company capabilities.

• Manage and perform all capture activities, developing and refining win themes, teaming strategies, gap analysis, documenting and revising capture activities.

• Lead proposal management, responses, content, narrative, color reviews, compliance and meeting all milestones and deadlines.

• Assist the proposal development process by coordinating information and data from teaming partners, data calls, SMEs, and other tasks as assigned by the proposal manager.

• Provide SME's with knowledge and expertise to develop the solution for each area of the proposal.

• Perform proposal writing support.

• Provide support for all aspects of pricing.

• Support the production of the final proposal document.

• Support the submission of the final proposal to the appropriate government point of contact.

• Market to small business companies and develop partnering strategies.

• Develop a Mentor-Protégé relationship.

• Identify SDVOSB and woman-owned re-compete contracts and pursue teaming arrangements with incumbents and small businesses to gain competitive advantage.

• Build a new business pipeline by collaborating with industry partners.

• Publicize company on social media platforms.

• Set up meetings with government and industry to support business opportunity targets.

• Provide semi-monthly activity reports to senior management.


Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s Degree plus a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Simulation and Training industry.

• Demonstrated performance in business development, capture management, marketing, and proposal development.
