About the Role:

Join our innovative cyber test and training team as a Network Engineer Journeyman! We're looking for tech-savvy professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about pushing the boundaries of technology to protect our nation's cyber capabilities.

What You'll Do:

• Configure and maintain critical hardware and software systems.
• Manage complex networking setups including Layer 1 and Layer 3 networks.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver customized cyber solutions.
• Ensure smooth operations and coordination with event staff to meet customer needs.
• Adhere to stringent security protocols to manage backups, logs, and compliance checks.

Key Qualifications:🎓

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Willing to travel to customer sites (about 10% travel).
• Proficient in hardware installation (chassis install, rack mounting, etc.) and familiar with SAN, RAID, and virtual datastores.
• Knowledgeable in ports and protocols like USB, ethernet, and fiber cabling.

Desired Skills:

• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Understanding of cyber security concepts, penetration testing, and vulnerabilities.
• Experience with scripting, DT&E, and OT&E.
