Calling for: Application Engineer

Engenium working in Partnership with our client. We are on the hunt for a dynamic Application Engineer who thrives under limited supervision and enjoys supporting the sales process through defining, preparing, costing, and communicating winning technical solutions to our customers. You will be the technical wizard, providing expertise to ensure the solutions are not just deployed but embraced during the after-sales phase.
Your Day to Day
- POC between the sales team and customers, attending customer visits to understand the needs and translating them into Solutions
- Ensure the solutions align with the customer expectation and rinse and repeat when necessary
- Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, sales, and project management teams to craft new systems/solutions
- Knowledgeable of cost information in order to arrive at cost efficient and effective solutions
- Communicate proposed solutions to the customers
- Juggle multiple projects
- Post-sales phase; draft Acceptance Test procedures & documents, work with the installations crew to ensure the solutions are executed
- 10% Travel, including some international adventures.
Qualifications
- Master/Bachelor degree in engineering or an equivalent combo of experience and education.
- A proven track record in a technical product/system application or engineering field.
- A creative problem-solver who can manage complex assignments and deliver on schedule.
- Posses a solid technical foundation combined with commercial experiences
- Excellent communication, active listening, influencing skills, and enjoy working as part of a team
- Due to nature of work and installation site, must be US citizen
