Role Overview:

As a seasoned Software Development Project Manager/Product Owner, you will lead the charge in customizing navigational bridge simulators for a pivotal Navy program 🚢 . This role demands a sharp focus on translating complex contract requirements into actionable development plans, managing project timelines, and ensuring alignment between our USA-based development team and European product management.


Your Mission:

  • Analyze and Translate: Convert complex contract requirements into clear, manageable backlog items.
  • Lead and Coordinate: Ensure project milestones are met, managing timelines and customer expectations with finesse.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with our development team in the USA and synchronize with the core team in Europe.
  • Communicate: Keep all parties informed, bridging the gap between European product management and local development efforts.


What You Bring to the Table: 💼

  • Analytical Prowess: Exceptional skills in breaking down complex information.
  • Proven Leadership: 5+ years in roles such as software development project manager or product owner, ideally within the military simulation domain.
  • Strategic Thinker: Excellence in prioritization, timeline management, and problem-solving.
  • Communicator: Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Agile Enthusiast: A strong grasp of Agile methodologies; experience in simulator development is a big plus.
  • Maritime or Navy Insight: Past maritime or Navy experience, especially with Navy or NAWCTSD programs, will set you apart.
  • Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card.
