Electrical Engineer – Tampa, FL

Position Overview:

Engenium is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design complex training systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Engineering teams to gather requirements for new training systems.

• Apply electrical engineering knowledge to create ergonomic, reliable, and maintainable electrical designs.

• Guide and mentor electrical engineers at various levels to develop cohesive electrical designs.

• Work closely with vendors and suppliers to specify hardware.

• Collaborate with the Computer Aided Design team on assemblies/installations.

• Support customer meetings, creating and present electrical design materials.

• Assist manufacturing by resolving design issues during production, and document changes.

• Participate in customer events and maintenance sessions.

• Must be a US Citizen who is able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in hardware and electrical system design.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
