**Position: Lead Program Engineer**


**Role Overview:**


As the Lead Program Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in navigating projects through the complexities of cost, time, and scope management. Your expertise will guide the entire lifecycle of our simulator projects, from conception through completion, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.


**Key Responsibilities:**


**Project Leadership:** Oversee the design, including scope and cost estimation, installation management, and initial support of assigned projects.

**Collaboration:** Work closely with the Senior Program Manager to develop comprehensive project proposals, focusing on technical solutions, scope of supply, resource allocation, schedules, risks, and costs.

**Project Management:** Coordinate procurement and contractor activities, ensuring seamless collaboration across operational and logistical teams. Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, and communication, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed and engaged.

**Risk and Change Management:** Proactively identify project risks and dependencies, managing changes in project scope, schedule, and costs effectively. Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate potential crises.

**Technical Expertise:** Lead the technical specification and review processes. Recommend technical solutions, preferred models, and vendors for third-party equipment integration.

**Quality Assurance:** Ensure the highest standards of quality are maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct thorough evaluations post-project to contribute to the company’s knowledge base.

**Customer Support:** Provide exceptional support to clients through various channels, including email, phone, and onsite visits. Participate in customer and vendor interactions as required.


**Qualifications:**


**Education:** Higher technical education (BSc or above). A technical apprenticeship, relevant BS degree, and/or IT/Electronics certification preferred.

**Experience:** At least 5 years of experience within a systems integration environment. Prior experience with Navigation, Seamanship, Shiphandling Trainer (NSST) LCS or other Navy Software programs highly desirable.

**Technical Skills:** Proficient in IT environments, including network computers, Operating Systems, and technologies. Familiarity with MS Windows, MS Office, IT hardware, and tools. CAD, Visio, and XML skills are a plus.

**Communication:** Excellent command of English, both spoken and written, including technical English.

**Eligibility:** Must be a US citizen, capable of obtaining and maintaining a Common Access Card. Hybrid/remote work options available for local candidates.
