Job Title: Program Manager (PM)

Location: Orlando / Hybrid with occasional travel required to CONUS and OCONUS military bases


Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly qualified Snr Program Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for the government and provide overarching leadership and guidance for all contractor personnel involved in the AFMS 3.0 contract. This critical role includes managing the quality and efficiency of both technical issues and business processes under the contract. The Snr Program Manager will be instrumental in steering the program towards success, responding proactively to government concerns, and ensuring contractual compliance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison between the contracting team and the government, ensuring clear communication and prompt resolution of issues.
  • Oversee the assignment of tasks to contractor personnel, supervise ongoing technical efforts, and manage overall contract performance.
  • Possess ultimate authority to commit the contractor’s organization and make decisions in response to government issues, concerns, and comments.
  • Maintain proactive engagement with the government to anticipate and address potential programmatic or contractual challenges.
  • Ensure readiness to respond to government queries and concerns promptly.
  • Manage resource limitations and alert the government to any potential impacts on contract deliverables.
  • Travel occasionally to military bases within and outside the Continental United States as required.


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of seven years of related project management experience, preferably managing programs of similar scope and complexity to this solicitation.
  • Must have prior experience as a Program Manager managing a program of similar size and scale as the AFMS.
  • Must have PMP / DAWIA or Federal Acquisition Institute level iii certification.
  • Ability to work full-time remotely or through telework arrangements in support of AFMS.
  • Must possess and maintain a Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.

  • Current certification from the Project Management Institute® as a Project Management Professional® (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP).
  • Master's Degree - preferably in Modeling & Simulation
  • Experience with SOFA requirements, regulations, and processes.
