Base Salary:

80-90k Plus Bonus

Position Summary:

The successful candidate will have knowledge in mechanical &/or optics inspection, an understanding of drawings, specifications, and standards, familiarity with machined parts and their manufacturing processes, and a background in quality system improvement. Understanding a higher-level QMS (ISO 9000, QS 9000, etc.) is highly preferred.

• Quality manufacturing, supplier quality, quality testing, quality training
• New Product Introduction validation
• Creating test validation plans,
• Reviewing work instructions
• Establishing inspection/sampling plans
• Investigating causes of nonconformance
• Implementing corrective actions
• Performing statistical analysis
• Conducts both internal audits and supplier assessments
• Supports continuous improvement efforts.
