General Manager - Food Distribution

Base $135-$160k Plus 10% Bonus

Relocation Assistance Available:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide hands-on management and full P&L responsibility for a warehouse and transportation operation
• Schedule, motivate and lead a team of warehouse personnel + leadership team
• Oversee all inbound/outbound parcel
• Manage all warehouse operations. Provide and solicit ideas for improvements
• Execute company policies and implement standardized processes as directed
• Proven leadership experience: mentor, train, develop, succession planning

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• 10+ years of experience with warehouse, food distribution
• Prefer experience refrigeration, and frozen
• 5-10 years of experience managing transportation
• Experience in a fast-paced environment 
• Bachelor's degree
• 10+ years supervisory experience within a multi-shift warehouse/distribution center – 150k sq. ft. or larger
• Experience hiring, training, and developing teams
• Excellent problem-solving skills
