7314 Training Coordinator

Main Purpose of the Position:

The Training Coordinator will serve as a contact within the Hillsboro Individualized Therapies (HIT) Learning Solutions for clients and subject areas and will be responsible for the training administration/coordination of the Learning Management Systems (LMS). 

The duties and responsibilities of this role fall into three major categories: Client/Relationship Management, Project/Program Management and LMS administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Client/Relationship Management
  • Effectively partner with customers to understand their business needs and how training and performance improvements will contribute to their success.
  • Initiate and establish regular meeting times with department managers of assigned client(s).
  • These meetings could also include attending department staff meetings.
  • Conduct training diagnostics and needs assessments (in the Technical training for GMP compliance and in the Organizational Development space to support our leaders) in partnership with customers and peer groups
  • Identify, develop, and implement curriculum strategies, solutions, and services that are aligned with business objectives and Corporate and GMP compliance; evaluate costs and options and make recommendations for training solutions.
  • Serve as a single point of contact to assigned organizations and respond in a timely manner to all requests/emails/phone calls.
  • Facilitate meetings with SMEs/Project Sponsors.

Project/Program Management

  • Manage assigned client’s curriculum from needs assessment through evaluation
  • Develop means of measuring the effectiveness and efficiency of training programs and monitor their ongoing impact.
  • Collaborate with other Learning Experts, Instructional Designers and Learning experts and leaders, across the learning network as appropriate to ensure resources and best practices are leveraged.
  • Participate in department and network projects as assigned.

LMS Administration

  • Perform all necessary data entry activities into LMS/Cornerstone.
  • Work with network teams to ensure Cornerstone compliance.
  • Support curriculum/qualification management.
  • Work with clients to create reports as needed.
  • Provide audit support as needed.


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in a training/learning and development role
  • Team-orientated approach; able to quickly and consistently establish rapport and collaborate effectively with clients, team members and partners. 
  • Must be flexible and willing to draw upon both technical training and soft-skill development to meet business needs.
  • Must be able to understand and implement a successful needs assessment and recommend solutions that will be both cost and time effective.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in customer service and in business partnership role.


The hiring range for this position is $28 to $33 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors.
