Duties: 

  • This Senior Business Systems Analyst is responsible for business enablement for the Project & Portfolio Mgmt. as well as Visualization applications by utilizing their technical skills and understanding of SAAS technologies.  
  • The right candidate must possess strong communication skills and analytical skills to effectively work with the business users to determine requirements and translate them into technical solutions.  
  • Additionally, they must excel in a team environment and have the ability to independently complete individual tasks to achieve stakeholder goals.  
  • Our ideal candidate would have a focus on results, data to measure performance and the interpersonal skills to build trust and alignment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work as a strategic partner of the business by keeping alignment with business groups on strategic vision and business priorities then be the liaison between business and technology.  
  • Understand technology capabilities required to support business needs.  
  • Develop and maintain a technology roadmap for the Project & Program Mgmt. pod by proactively communicating and collaborating with business stakeholders. 
  • Lead business requirements gathering sessions and analyze key business processes and requirements.
  •  Understand business process, issues, use cases, requirements, system integrations, reporting and data flow in depth.  
  • Drive innovations and efficiency by implementing new business processes through technology solutions.  
  • Work closely with technical lead and developers to translate business requirements into technology design and solution.  
  • Work with business users to document, manage, and prioritize bug fixings and enhancements Manage change management and training. 
  • Create user manuals and training documents.  
  • Conduct user trainings and drive smooth and efficient implementation of changes.  
  • Creates support documentation from how to's run books, policy documents to support our service offerings.  
  • Support business users on system configuration, admin and other business activities.
  • Identify system issues and troubleshoot / analyze potential solutions including workarounds.  
  • Support product development and release lifecycle by working with technical lead and developers to test and release new system functions to ensure on time delivery of new product and features including assisting with new releases and approving all User Acceptance Testing.  
  • Participate in sprint planning and other team rituals.

 

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years with SAAS technologies used by internal employees.  
  • Experience in establishing effective business partnerships within and outside the organization. Highly responsive with strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.  
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize and juggle multiple deadlines and projects, and keep peers, partners, and supervisor abreast of activities.
  • Proficiency in leading user interviews, requirements gathering, creating, maintaining and supporting all application development artifacts including user stories, process flows, screen mockups, data diagrams, business rule definitions, design documents and reporting scripts.  
  • Strong analytical and system design skills, problem-solving skills, and a track record of seeing tasks through to successful completion.  
  • Experience working in a technical environment and able to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.  
  • Excellent Problem solving, analytical mind, attention to detail and investigative skills.  
  • Experience working with self-service support tools in a high growth company to promote shift-left initiatives to move information and help from support staff to self-service knowledge repositories.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree or above in computer science or engineering preferred.  
  • MBA degree preferred.  
  • 5+ years in an IT environment supporting Enterprise SAAS Applications.  
  • Ability to work and interact with departments throughout the organization with minimal supervision Analytical Thinking.  
  • Analyzing issues and problems systematically, gathering broad and balanced input, drawing sound conclusions and translating conclusions into timely decisions and actions.
  • Business Engagement.  
  • Manage customer relationships to gather business requirements and processes to support request fulfillment needs.
  • Customer focused, able to collaborate and influence others to drive actions to meet business needs while maintaining a positive, professional outlook.

Education: 

  • Bachelor's Degree or above in computer science or engineering preferred. 
  • MBA degree preferred.


The hiring range for this position is $68 to $78 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors.
