Centennial is seeking an experienced and visionary Business Development Leader for a people-centered management and technology consulting firm based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Our client, renowned for their strong reputation, serves a diverse range of clients from Fortune 100 companies to small businesses. They are looking for a leader to secure new clients, drive sales strategy, and lead a talented team while ensuring alignment with their mission and values as a conscious business. Your proven ability to cultivate opportunities, build lasting relationships, and provide strategic direction will be essential to their ongoing success.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Generate revenue by prospecting based on established relationships, navigating complex organizational structures, and advancing sales conversations with midsize and large prospective clients
  • Oversee the entire sales operation, set strategies, manage the team, and ensure alignment with the company's mission and goals
  • Coach the team and equip each member to achieve revenue targets and expand client relationships
  • Work collaboratively and with integrity in the best interest of the company and our Client Partners
  • Partner with the Marketing team on lead-generation strategy campaigns to increase the opportunity pipeline
  • Collaborate with the President, Strategic Advisors, and Consulting Services Delivery team leaders to develop new service offerings and solutions that foster long-term, successful client partnerships
  • Capture market needs and trends and consult with executive leadership and internal teams for solution development
  • Define and monitor progress toward sales goals and metrics

 

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Willing to work a hybrid (remote and in-office) weekly schedule
  • Proven track record of success and strong client relationships in professional consulting services.
  • Experience in the technology industry
  • Recognized for being an inspiring people leader
  • Ability to create, build, and nurture relationships with business and technical leadership to drive new business
  • Capable of balancing multiple initiatives while delivering high-quality interactions with prospective clients and the internal team
  • Exceptional organizational, communication (oral and written), and facilitation skills
  • Thrive in a role that includes sales management, strategy, and winning new business
  • Seeking an opportunity to successfully grow the business and be positioned for a future executive role
