We are seeking a Project Manager to join a dynamic and innovative privately owned manufacturing company in Cincinnati, Ohio. You'll lead project teams, drive the full project lifecycle, and ensure that every project is executed with precision, within budget, and on time. What You’ll Do: 


  • Lead with Authority: Command cross-functional teams and guide them through the complexities of project execution, providing clear direction and prioritization to ensure success. 
  • Master Project Lifecycle: Manage all stages of the project lifecycle, from planning and design to development, testing, implementation, and closeout, ensuring seamless execution at every phase. 
  • Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with project teams to meet objectives within cost, schedule, and scope constraints. Identify and resolve project challenges with innovative solutions. 
  • Communicate with Clarity: Regularly update the Senior Leadership Team on project status, including financials, schedule, risks, quality, technical details, and customer satisfaction. Facilitate production and project meetings to maintain alignment and progress. 
  • Drive Improvement: Engage in internal improvement initiatives and technical problem-solving, fostering a culture of continuous enhancement. 
  • Handle Complex Portfolios: Navigate complex portfolios and bills of materials, ensuring every detail aligns with project goals and customer expectations. 
  • Champion Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations exceeded. 


What You’ll Bring: 


  • US Citizenship: Required due to the sensitive nature of Aerospace and Defense projects. 
  • Educational Background: Associate’s degree in business or engineering technology required. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, business, or related technical field is preferred. 
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in engineering, manufacturing, or a technical field, with at least 5 years in project/program management of technical projects. 
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects in a high-pressure environment. 
  • Communication Proficiency: Effective communicator across all levels of the organization and with customers, both verbally and in writing. 
  • Technical Acumen: Strong analytical skills and proficiency with tools like Excel and MS Project to clarify and manage complex information. 
  • Industry Expertise: Experience in aerospace/defense manufacturing or other highly regulated environments. 
  • Project Management Certification: PMP, CPM, or similar formal project management education is a plus. 
  • Contract Negotiation Skills: Experience with contract negotiation and administration is highly desirable.
