Centennial is leading the search for top talent in commercial real estate. We're seeking an experienced Estimator/Project Manager to oversee tenant finish projects, including retail and restaurant fit-outs. Responsibilities include meeting stakeholders, preparing estimates, negotiating contracts, and ensuring projects are on time and within budget.

Based in Covington, KY, this role reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Design and Construction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meet with stakeholders to discuss project needs
• Prepare and propose estimates ranging from $50,000 to $50,000,000
• Create spreadsheets, job-specific data, and portfolios for project sales
• Attend preconstruction meetings to maintain stakeholder communication
• Develop project-specific communication plans
• Obtain and review plans and specifications before job walks
• Negotiate contracts while safeguarding financial interests
• Follow office policies and procedures, assist, and train peers as needed
• Obtain or possess OSHA Certification
• Recognize and report job hazards to onsite management
• Enforce written safety training plans, adhering to OSHA Standards
• Conduct project kickoff meetings and create startup checklists
• Review estimates and bids, write project-specific Quality Control plans
• Understand Contracts, Construction Law, and Current Code
• Review Job Cost Breakdown for accuracy
• Develop project-specific budgets, review and execute owner contracts
• Review estimates before submission, ensure weekly OAC and Subcontractor meetings are held, and record proper meeting minutes/agendas

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field preferred
• Minimum 10 years' construction industry experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent with 10 years' experience, or College Degree
• OSHA Certification required
• Background screening, motor vehicle background check, and drug screening required
