The Centennial team is seeking a dynamic Regional Distribution Manager to oversee the planning, organizing, and control of efficient warehousing and throughout of goods for a privately-owned manufacturer. This role is crucial for maintaining company goals, controlling costs, and improving service. A successful candidate will collaborate with sales, inventory, transportation, and customer service teams to exceed customer expectations, plan future warehouse strategies, and enhance processes through automation and best practices. This person will be fully responsible for warehouse operations P&L, from budgeting to reporting.

Responsibilities 


  • Support, promote, and manage the corporate Health, Safety, and Environmental mandate. 
  • Plan all warehouse resources and activities to meet company objectives and targets, ensuring timely delivery of goods while managing P&L and budget targets. 
  • Maintain building and stock security, keeping them free from damage. 
  • Receive, maintain, and distribute accurate inventory to internal/external customers. 
  • Oversee all inbound and outbound activities, including international shipments and interbranch transfers. 
  • Preserve and enhance department reports, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). 
  • Manage and administer daily warehouse duties to facilitate efficient and accurate product transfer to customers and additional warehouse locations. 
  • Conduct associate meetings, including continuous feedback reviews, performance reviews, goal setting, disciplinary action reviews with HRBP, and regular stand-up meetings. 
  • Efficiently coordinate required labor for shipping and receiving, including overtime, temp labor, and Saturday work as needed. 
  • Manage P&L and budget, with the ability to interpret and administer budgets. 

 

Qualifications 


  • Minimum Education: Diploma or University Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management, Commerce and/or International Business, or other relevant discipline; or 5-10 years of relevant logistics/warehouse experience at a management level. 
  • Minimum Years of Experience: Five years of extensive warehouse, distribution, logistics and transportation management experience. 
  • Certifications Required: CCLP 
  • Preferred Computer Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. 
  • Extensive knowledge and/or exposure to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and RF Technology. 
  • Specialized Skills: Knowledge of Employment Standards, USDT, OSHA, and Health and Safety Protocols and Procedures.
