About the Company Hiring: Our client is a manufacturing company in the clean-tech space.

About the Job: Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Controller will create and manage all aspects of the internal accounting operations.

• Supervise junior accounting staff for accuracy and timely completion of General Accounting processes, general ledger, cost accounting, and the financial close processes.
• Ensure all month, quarter, and year end reports are completed timely and accurately.
• Establishing & managing internal controls.
• Improve accuracy on taxes and reporting functions.
• Work with external auditors to support year-end financial audit activities.
• Play a critical role in helping prepare the organization for a potential future IPO.
• Support the roll-out of multiple production facilities across the US.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 7-10+ years of accounting experience. 5+ years supporting a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to set accounting strategy and lead accounting initiatives (implementing revenue recognition, creating and maintaining financial dashboards, implementing process and procedures to help with quick month/year end closes).
• Strong familiarity with GAAP standards and financial reporting. Preferred experience with design and implementation of ERP systems.
• Good working knowledge of NetSuite preferred.
• CPA preferred.

Salary: $140,000 - $160,000
