What Our Client Needs:

 

Our client is looking for a Senior QA Analyst. The Senior QA Analyst role is to ensure deliverables are of high quality and meets the specifications. They will work closely with business to understand requirements, define the appropriate test plans to validate the requirements, and create and maintain automation scripts.


This role requires cross functional collaboration and advocating and implementing best practices across teams.



What You’ll Do:


  • Develop automation/performance scripts that meet organization standards and build reliable automated regression suites
  • Hands on experience in Tosca automation tool with experience in debugging and providing guidance to team
  • Design and develop test plans, test cases based upon functional and design specifications, execute test cases, and analyze and report test results to the teams
  • Work in partnership with the development teams to deliver business functionality on time with required quality that meets the acceptance criteria
  • Focus on building efficient solutions for Web, Services/APIs, and Database testing requirements
  • Participate in internal/cross team meetings, project scoping, functional reviews, test specifications, technical reviews for assigned projects in a safe Agile environment
  • Participate actively in functional, system and regression testing activities
  • Capture quality assurance data and metrics to provide insights and conclusions to management team
  • Estimate and perform risk analysis for quality delivery
  • Deploy and validate the software release builds in QA environment, maintain test environments
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and work with relevant teams to define and execute on ideas to realize the opportunities
  • Contribute to team by mentoring and managing projects assigned to junior QA engineers and assisting other product managers in the evaluation of product requirements for software applications
  • Become “go-to” – escalation point person for any project related test management activities
  • Contribute to team by mentoring and managing projects assigned to junior QA engineers and assisting other technical & product managers in the evaluation of product requirements for software applications
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to set priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively across teams



What You’ll Need:


  • 8 + years of experience in software testing and developing automated scripts with understanding of coding and debugging procedures
  • Knowledge of Tosca automation is a must
  • Capability to understand the big picture – system / app / product and weave in a comprehensive test plan
  • Experience in design and development of automated tests using Tosca with exposure in testing across the application layers (UI/Service/Data layers)
  • Experience in advising team to identify automatable test cases at different layers (UI, Services and Data layer tests). Ability to working with developers to build automation/performance friendly code is a plus
  • Understanding of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices and experience in Safe Agile methodology is a plus
  • Knowledge of testing in CI, DevOps, rolling deployment/upgrade model is a plus
  • Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively across teams
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills
  • Track record of completing assignments on time with a high degree of quality
  • Exposure to Neoload tool is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to produce clear, concise, and detailed documentation
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills
  • Bachelor's or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent is preferred
