What Our Client Needs:

 

Our client is looking for a Sales Manager. The Sales Manager will provide leadership and expertise to deliver effective sales performance to achieve the company’s account retention, revenue growth and profitability objectives.  Reporting to the President, this Manager is a member of the leadership team, helping set company direction. The Manager leads personal and professional development of their direct reports, ensuring success in the near and long term for both the associates and for our client. The role will find ways to improve the team’s reporting, analysis, and performance metrics, and sales outcomes.




What You’ll Do:



Sales Leadership


  • Ensure personal and professional development of direct reports
  • Frequent interaction with team members to review sales activities
  • Ensure sales team performance aligns with company values and priorities
  • Ensure sales team performance in alignment with sales process planning and execution
  • Collaborate where needed to support multi location customers

Strategic Activities


  • Leadership Team member setting company strategy, involved in key decisions
  • Determine pricing plans in alignment with annual, account planning & segmentation strategies
  • Determine Business Intelligence needs to support segmentation, account planning, & annual planning strategies
  • Collaborate with our client's corporate office in support of product and marketing initiatives
  • Execute to strategic measures in opportunity management, account retention
  • Utilize service commission data to drive activities


Sales Planning


  • Determine goals/targets for annual sales and account planning initiatives
  • Utilize customer insight and BI to determine sales and account planning activities
  • Analyze sales and marketing data to drive accurate forecasting and funnel management
  • Ensure sales goals, and activities, are achieved
  • Ensure CRM reporting and analysis to support sales activities
  • Manage plan updates throughout year & communication to leadership team
  • Manager business review process for critical accounts
  • Tracking sales opportunities from lead generation through revenue realization, account development, and customer retention
  • Create reporting and analytics for Leadership Team
  • Leads Opportunity team meetings and drives sales engagement 



What You’ll Need:


  • BS/BA in Engineering, Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • MBA strongly preferred
  • Five years’ experience in target market with substantial responsibility  
  • Management experience required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build personal and team based relationships
  • Leadership Skills
  • Project management
  • Organizational change leadership
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively
  • Intimate understanding of accounting methods
  • Knowledgeable in CRM processes, SAPB1 preferred
