What You’ll Do:


  • Accountable for assigned portfolio projects, providing successful, timely, and on-budget delivery of projects with cross functional stakeholders, meeting department and organization goals, and ensuring high stakeholder satisfaction, through effective hands-on program management.
  • Accountable for identifying and resolving or escalating areas of concern with respect to deadlines, resource allocation, budget considerations or other risks to a successful program/project outcome.
  • Responsible for coordinating activities across and ensure accountability across all levels of internal/external business stakeholders.
  • Accountable for creation and daily management of project plans and resource allocation/management for assigned EPMO initiatives. 
  • Responsible for monitoring completion of project deliverables, tracking and ensuring deadlines are met, identifying & resolving or if needed escalating concerns around deadlines, resource allocation, scope, cost, etc.
  • Provide ongoing tracking and measurement of program progress, creating and delivering metrics and progress reports to stakeholders including senior management.
  • For product and tool offerings, provide program management oversight to coordinate internal/external go-to-market readiness activities including, but not limited to, Business Operations, Education &Training, Marketing, Finance, and Legal.
  • Support the Director, Program Management to drive continuous improvement for the program delivery methodology with a goal of reducing project durations and cost while increasing quality and stakeholder satisfaction levels. Employs best-in-class Lean-Agile program delivery methodologies.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, escalates project related issues raised by stakeholders or team members.
  • Develop strong partnerships with internal/external stakeholders to ensure support for successful delivery of projects.
  • Provide accurate, timely and transparent communication of process, project status, and other relevant information to key stakeholders. 



No direct reports. This position may require up to 5% travel.


 

What You’ll Need:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or related certifications in a business or program/project management field preferred 
  • 10+ years of project management or equivalent experience with demonstrated success
  • Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional project teams to successfully deliver within specified timescales and budget (where appropriate). Able to demonstrate ability to deal with major change and ambiguity
  • Knowledge and understanding of the organization, the market it competes in, and its strategic objectives is highly desirable.
  • PMP from the Project Management Institute and/or SAFe certification is desirable. 
  • Ability to manage individual and multiple projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Keeps track of expectations and accountabilities using appropriate metrics and milestones
