Our client is searching for a Benefits and HRIS Specialist who is equipped with advanced quantitative skills and driven by a people-first mentality providing excellent and impactful experiences for all team members. What You’ll Do:


Benefits Administration

  • Day-to-day administration of all health and welfare and retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and COBRA including but not limited to processing enrollments, life events, terminations, and ensuring the effective transfer of all elections and changes to vendors (including troubleshooting any system integration and error reporting issues).
  • Assist with the LOA administration for disability and/or FMLA leave requests.
  • Administer the GS1 US Wellness Program initiatives.
  • Provide ongoing support during open enrollment season relating to employee enrollment analysis/reporting, updating elections and communications, responding to employee benefit questions, and general quality assurance of the benefits election system to ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Collaborate with our Payroll Specialist to ensure proper deductions (and/or adjustments) are taken correctly during each pay processing cycle.
  • Responsible for new hire onboarding as it relates to benefits orientation, setting up the new hire(s) in the HRIS, coordinating supporting documentation as it relates to dependents, etc.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all tier one employee benefit questions.
  • Responsible for interpreting and complying with all federal, state, and local benefits and HR laws.


HRIS Administration

  • Monitors HR Information System (HRIS) ADP WorkforceNow for compliance by running reports and making necessary changes to job codes, data validation tables, reports, and other systems applications.
  • Maintain accuracy of data and data flow from HR to payroll (including benefit deductions and other payroll related actions).
  • Develop and implement new processes for efficient HR data management.
  • Administration and support of Kudos employee recognition platform, PerformYard talent management platform, and JobVite onboarding platform by running and analyzing reports for effective utilization.


HR Compliance

  • Create and maintain employee personnel files and employee records. Communicate with other members of the Human Resources team and people managers to ensure accuracy of HRIS and personnel files. 
  • Maintain external facing HR information sites including organizational charts and Employee Benefits page on the company Intranet.
  • Perform all data gathering and analytics for Affirmative Action Plan and EEOC reporting compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

What You’ll Need:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration prefered
  • 1-2 years of experience in human resources
  • A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions
  • Strong technical understanding of UI Development (Angular)
  • Experience designing and shipping products for mobile and desktop
  • Experience with a variety of design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch
  • Experience in managing design systems
  • In-depth knowledge of common front-end coding languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular
  • Must be able to clearly communicate with leadership, product managers, and technology feature teams
  • Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design
  • Strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
  • Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
  • Experience in a highly Agile/scrum environment
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps preferred
  • Scaled Agile Framework certification strongly preferred



This position may require 10% travel.
