What Our Client Needs:

 

Our client is looking for a Director, Talent Management. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering programs across the employee lifecycle in Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Performance Management, Succession Planning, and Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging. You will provide leadership for the strategies and programs that improve individual, team and organizational capability and allow each employee to bring their authentic self to work.




What You’ll Do:



Essential Duties & Responsibilities


  • Design a Talent Management strategy which includes a comprehensive approach for assessing, planning, managing, and developing talent across the enterprise.
  • Integrate and align Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging throughout the entire employee experience.  
  • Manage vendor relationship with our third-party recruiting firm to provide unforgettable candidate experiences.
  • Work with Human Resources colleagues and hiring managers to support the job criteria development and talent acquisition process.
  • Provide talent development support and consulting to ensure successful execution of talent identification and development planning processes. This includes the people review process, succession planning, and career paths.
  • Manage and evolve our existing talent management and leadership development experiences to support business and our people, including performance management process, development frameworks, and talent reviews.
  • Drive successful talent review processes and ensure that robust succession plans are in place 
  • Develop strategic program goals for the company's Talent Management approach and processes in partnership with organizational leaders.
  • Deploy internal learning and development resources to achieve the talent management strategy.
  • Evolve Talent Management design by adding new features, technical enhancements, and Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging integration as new information and research becomes known. Constantly raise the bar to innovate, simplify, and maximize the effectiveness of new or existing activities and programs. Monitor external trends and best practices.
  • Partner with business leaders, and other internal groups as necessary to implement leadership development solutions including 360 assessments, leadership assessment and executive coaching.
  • Apply talent management and systems expertise with a practical, “roll up your sleeves” approach to deliver solutions that exceed internal customer expectations.
  • Manage and cultivate relationships with external consultants and vendors ensuring the highest standards of facilitation and relevance to organizational goals and culture.



Supervisory Responsibilities


  • This position has supervisory responsibility for one Talent Management Specialist




This position requires less than 10% travel.




What You’ll Need:


  • BA / BS in Human Resources, Organization Development, Industrial / Organization Psychology or related field or commensurate experience required.
  • Master’s Degree in Business Management or Human Resources preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in talent management, organization development, workforce planning, performance management, staff and leadership development, or human resources business partnership is required.
  • Strong understanding of leading research, practices and innovations in Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging and Talent Management, plus the strengths and drawbacks of what has been tried to date
  • Success in coaching organizational leaders at the executive level related Talent Management & Development, or Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging.
  • Demonstrated leadership presence, collaboration and influence across the organization
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) able to create a story using data and research
  • A strategic partner and systems thinker with an ability to connect people to talent strategy, and processes across the enterprise
  • A creative thinker that develops solutions focused on the future of work and dynamic needs a culture, and its people require
  • An inclusive manager of people who leads with empathy & achieves high-quality results yet ensure their team's engagement and development
  • A data-driven leader who can consult with team and partners
