What Our Client Needs:



Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant who will be responsible for booking daily transactions, reconciling bank accounts, analyzing accounts receivable, preparing audit schedules, and coordinating month-end closing procedures. You’ll work closely with the Controller, using GAAP principles to ensure compliance and accuracy in all financial activities.





What You’ll Do:


  • Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
  • Make weekly check deposits via Remote Deposit.
  • Identify delinquent accounts and manage collection efforts.
  • Manage the Accounts Receivable inbox and follow up with customer requests.
  • Review completed contracts for accuracy before billing.
  • Generate invoices and send them via email to customers.
  • Assist employees with contract creation to comply with billing systems.
  • Train employees and prepare tutorials on the billing system.
  • Manage customer subscriptions and respond to requests.
  • Prepare daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Enter journal entries and perform monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
  • Analyze account variances and research accounting issues.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing and financial reviews.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Be an active team member in the internal operations department, providing excellent customer service.


 

This position is hybrid and requires work in the Exton office, 2-3 days a week (days of the week can be flexible).





What You’ll Need:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (preferred).
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience.
  • Superior communication and professionalism.
  • Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects successfully.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe).
  • Understanding of a Subscription Model.
  • Quick learner with software like Zuora, Salesforce, and QuickBooks.
  • Flexibility, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to team goals.
