What Our Client Needs:

 

Our client is looking for a Partnerships Director. As a Partnerships Director, you will have the opportunity to impact our client's solutions and technology provider community to be a strategic channel to market for the company's system of standards. You will flex between strategy and tactical operations with small family-owned businesses to large, multi-billion organizations across multiple industries, making connections to help drive innovation to supply chain and eCommerce solutions. 


You’ll also be highly visible. Multiple internal teams, and external partners, will view you as a trusted partner and resource on all things related to developing and fostering relationships with technology providers and attribute databases that enable our client's standards to come to life online and in real world business processes and supply chains.  


You will be joining a team that is forward looking and engaging with our partners on existing standards based initiatives as well as exploring emerging areas of implementation that will allow you to continuously grow professionally.  


This is a manage by business objectives (MBO) position and not a commissions-based position. There is a bonus from reaching MBOs. 



Who You Are:

 

At your core you are an account manager, and you know that the role is so much more than just hitting your target. You are focused on consultative or solution-based sales. You love problem solving, especially through building the right relationships (both externally and internally) to get the job done. You may be tired of the Monday morning commit calls, but still enjoy all the other aspects of the game; pitching an idea, getting people to see new things, influencing buy in from the right decision makers, etc.)

 

You are an effective relationship builder with an ability to present and communicate effectively with everyone, from C-suite executives to tactical teams. You incorporate a growth-oriented and learner mindset into business development and possess the ability to link strategical and tactical areas of supply chain and eCommerce while working across multiple industries with both small and large organizations.




What You’ll Do:


  • Account Management - Responsible for nurturing and engaging existing relationships of 50+ Solution Partners; provide support for business development initiatives and customer relationships, including prospecting, the retention, and growth of existing customers, and collaboration with partners on industry initiatives.
  • Market Expansion – expand our market presence by identifying and onboarding new partners. Leverage your network and industry expertise to drive growth.
  • Continuous Improvement – Ability to learn all product offerings and utilize knowledge to bring best practices, develop robust offerings, delivery methodology, go-to-market models, pricing, customer satisfaction, and operations. Innovate to link areas of strategic and tactical areas of the supply chain.
  • Collaborate – Proven ability to build credibility and foster relationships at all levels of leadership. Proven success in conceiving, building, and implementing a multi-tiered, complex partner program that includes technology partners, service partners, and value-add partners. Actively participate in a team approach to success via solution selling.
  • Communicate – Utilize strong facilitation and presentation skills to communicate online and in person during introductory and strategic engagements. Manage workgroups and deliver webinars on key program benefits and industry trends. Document within the CRM and share pertinent information with team to drive connections and engagement with members.
  • Metrics and Reporting - Track program performance, analyze data, and adjust strategies as needed. Numbers matter, and you’ll ensure we’re hitting our targets.



This position requires up to 30% travel



What You’ll Need:


  • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year College or university
  • 10+ years industries experience
  • Previous roles in technology or services business development, retail IT, planning, or supply chain functions preferred
  • Proven experience developing strategic relationships
  • Experience in the development and operation of Partner/Alliance programs in the technology, information and services industries preferred
