Title: Director, Processor Sales – Prepaid Cards

Location: Remote (Denver, Toronto, or Atlanta ideally)

 

Overview:

Our Client, a leading prepaid and debit card issuer processor, is searching for a Director of Processor Sales to join their sales team. Positioned for growth, the issuer processor side of their business is in startup mode, providing an exciting opportunity for immediate impact and career advancement.

 

As the Director of Sales, your primary focus will be on identifying and securing prepaid issuer processor deals, primarily targeting mid-to-large size opportunities. With a green field ahead, you will have the autonomy to drive the direction and play a pivotal role in our continued success. Ideal candidates will bring an existing rolodex or established relationships, facilitating rapid sales and commission generation. You would be largely working independently with little oversight. Lots of growth opportunity to build and run processing sales team with success.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a profound understanding of our prepaid and debit solutions, tailoring your approach to the specific needs of businesses within your assigned verticals and sales pipeline.
  • Generate leads using various channels, including cold calling, networking, conferences, and referrals.
  • Craft and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers, showcasing the unique benefits and features of our offerings.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing, ensuring mutually beneficial deals for both the company and the customer.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets through effective closing strategies.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and client success, to address customer needs promptly and foster a seamless customer experience.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, customer feedback, and market trends to management, contributing valuable insights to our strategic initiatives.

 

Requirements:

  • 7 + years B2B sales experience and 2-3 years of managing a team of quota-carrying individuals with a track record of exceeding goals and scaling teams, ideally in FinTech, Prepaid, banking, or other card issuing solutions
  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets across teams and individually.
  • Skilled in managing and coaching through the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
  • Experience using Salesforce for accurate forecasting
  • Experienced in hiring and training talent
  • Ability to function in a “Player/Coach” capacity
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and surpassing sales quota objectives, particularly in large enterprise settings
  • Translate strategic initiatives into actionable plans for optimizing pipeline performance, enhancing deal flow and velocity, and refining pricing and monetization strategies.
  • Self-motivated and driven for success, with a keen ambition to advance within a dynamic, fast-paced, success-oriented global business environment.
  • Results-driven professional who thrives as both a hunter and closer.
  • Effectively educate the enterprise marketplace about the advantages and power of their prepaid card solutions
  • Demonstrate the capability to build and lead a high-performing sales team, including the development of sales strategies and the effective management of sales execution.
  • Highly motivated and results-driven with consistent achievement of quota(s) across multiple periods of time.
  • Highly collaborative and able to build strong cross-functional partnerships
  • Prior experience in a high-growth startup environment, showcasing adaptability and resilience in a rapidly evolving business landscape.
