Title: Install Specialist – Payments Hardware/Software

Location: Plano, TX

Overview:

Our Client, a leading payments company, is searching for Install Specialists in Plano, TX to join their team. In the role of Install Specialist, you will serve as the escalation point for all concerns surrounding the setup of new accounts. Your responsibilities will encompass managing various workflows such as case/task handling, email correspondence, chat assistance, telephone communication, and callback requests, not only for yourself but also for your team. Additionally, your duties will include conducting research, generating documentation, and escalating issues in a precise and articulate manner.

Responsibilities:

• Hardware – Setup, Installation, and Configuration of Terminals and Pinpads.
• Software – Configuring Gateways and Point of Sale systems.
• Support, troubleshooting, and reprogramming of current hardware and software.
• Acquiring knowledge of installations cross various sectors like Retail, Restaurant, MOTO, Internet, and Lodging.
• Familiarizing oneself with their proprietary products and management systems
• Scheduling, coordinating, and executing conversions for a wide array of integrated systems.
• Resolving intricate problems that necessitate comprehensive analysis and data collection.
• Creating and using documentation to resolve basic and intricate installation issues for their Merchants, Partners, Agents, and internal support teams.
• Mastering their back-end processing systems, then employing your critical thinking abilities to troubleshoot their front-end technologies with these back-end fundamentals.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Capacity to deliver excellent Customer Service. Exceptional communication skills are mandatory.
• Experience in merchant services is highly desirable but not a prerequisite.
• Ability to collaborate with team members across different functions.
• Strong follow up and organizational skills.
