Title: Risk Analyst

Location: N. Atlanta/Alpharetta, GA - onsite

Overview:

Our Client, a growing payments company, is looking to expand their Risk team. The right person must be willing to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment in their Alpharetta, GA office from 8am – 5pm est, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities:

• Daily monitoring of merchant transaction and chargeback activity
• Work investigation audits related to merchant activity
• Provide risk related support to other departments by providing analytical insight surrounding transactions, merchants and best practices for card acceptance
• Field and resolve customer service inquiries from merchants and partners
• Assist with underwriting and onboarding of new merchant accounts: Ensuring all requirements are met as per the company’s underwriting guidelines, following up with sales partners to obtain additional information pertinent to merchant applications

Requirements:

• This position is onsite. No remote or hybrid
• College degree preferred but not required
• 1 year prior risk experience specific to the merchant acquiring industry
• Familiarity with various tools used for underwriting and due diligence (Equifax, TIN Check, MATCH, identity verification, processing statement analysis)
• Understand the risks associated with the payment processing industry (Fraud, Credit,Regulatory, Legal, etc.)
• Understanding of Card Brand rules and regulations
• Professional and clear communication skills, both written and oral. This job will involve daily interaction with their partners, merchants, and team internally.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other commonly used applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated, can prioritize tasks and manage time independently
