Title: Strategic Partner Manager – Faster Payments

Overview:

Our Client, a provider Realtime/Faster Payments, is currently looking to hire a highly motivated, can-do attitude individual who enjoys establishing relationships and closing business to join their team as Strategic Partner Manager. Their innovative payment routing technology ensures that payments arrive at their destination on time and at the lowest cost. They offer access to a wide range of payment options, giving flexibility to choose the payment method that best suits.


A Strategic Partner Manager is responsible for building new strategic partnerships, as well as enhancing and deepening existing strategic partnerships to ensure a mutually beneficial relationship. The main objective of a Strategic Partner Manager is to find and establish new relationships, as well as maintain relationships among strategic partners to drive further usage and adoption.


Responsibilities:

  • Find and develop new strategic partnership relationships
  • Strengthen and grow existing strategic partner relationships
  • Earn referrals to new key parties, to drive the company’s growth and footprint
  • Identify, champion, and execute exciting partnership solutions
  • Liaise with partners to solve issues, communicate needs and create synergy
  • Forecast for strategic changes and maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline
  • Deepen share of wallet by negotiating attractive partnership deals and ensure mutually beneficial partnership terms
  • Must have a strong interest and desire to work within the faster payments landscape. A keen interest in technology and payments is required.
  • Travel to prospect and client sites, and tradeshows to meet with strategic partners to further enhance relationships
  • Manage multiple, and at times, conflicting objectives


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, administration/management, communications, or a related field is generally required
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role with a strong track record of building, maintaining, and deepening strategic partnerships
  • Skilled at working with senior stakeholders to find win-win solutions
  • Highly motivated, goal oriented, assertive and a hands-on, problem solver
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a startup-esque culture
  • Meets/Exceeds quarterly and annual goals
  • Motivates partners to refer more business
  • Exhibits strong work ethic
  • Proven analytical, and research skills
  • Familiarity with Hubspot/Salesforce is a plus
  • Experience selling into banks, credit unions, and banking services providers highly preferred
