Title: Account Manager

Location: Atlanta, GA / Remote (also considering remote candidates)


Overview:

Our client, a leading provider of banking and payment solutions to financial institutions, is looking for three Account Managers: 1 Large Financial Institutions and 2 Small Financial Institutions. Candidate must reside within 50 miles of a major airport within a respected region. 


Account Managers will serve as a point of contact for all client interactions and be responsible for developing exceptional customer relationships by partnering to implement the customer strategies and visions, influencing product solutions to align with customer needs, and working closely with members actively engaged in day-to-day actions surrounding these efforts.


Responsibilities:

  • Managing a remote customer base and keeping a track record of implementing software and hardware solutions for external customers
  • Initiating and maintaining outstanding interaction and customer satisfaction
  • Ensuring contract compliance and managing contract process
  • Project / Open Issues / Implementation management
  • Guiding project management as part of implementation, rollout, or any other funded services efforts
  • Project planning (activities, deliverables, timelines, etc.)
  • Supporting escalations and new prospect sales for project and implementation management
  • Creating and delivering presentations, proposals, and RFI/RFP responses to C-Level leadership
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of products, services, and industries
  • Recognizing the customer's key challenges in their business operations and identifying products and solutions to the customer's area of need
  • Using knowledge about trends and topics within the industry and area of expertise to influence client decision making
  • Driving revenue through cross sells in conjunction with annual quota for assigned region
  • Providing product marketing and industry expertise to influence product direction
  • Obtaining customer or industry information that assists in responding to customer's needs and requirements,
  • Understanding the formal and informal decision-making process within each of the accounts
  • Driving pipeline growth with qualified opportunities and executing winning sales campaigns to deliver quarter on quarter growth
  • Leading account planning and opportunity planning sessions
  • Establishing success criteria and gaining consensus internally and externally
  • Driving customer programs to deliver revenue growth
  • Providing advice and input to customer project manager/team
  • Reporting internal and external statuses
  • Formulating long-term vision while delivering on current goals/objectives
  • Ensuring overall project success – quality, schedule, and budget
  • Serving as a point of contact for each customer's day-to-day activities
  • Escalation and exception management of all customer satisfaction issues
  • Developing and reporting key customer metrics to include financial and customer satisfaction
  • Contributing to improve policies and processes that support the Account Managers’ purpose and goals
  • Participating in designing and executing marketing programs related to the industry


Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Banking exp required
  • 2+ years of Customer Management exp
  • 75% Domestic Travel is required: flexibility
  • Successful Project and Account Management experience
  • Software Implementation Experience is desirable
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; detail oriented; interpersonal skills
  • Career Driven
  • Proven multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
  • High energy with personal initiative
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Experience in credit unions is a plus
