Title: Vice President, Operations

Location: Atlanta, GA


Our Client, a leading global provider of innovative banking and payments solutions, is looking for a Vice President of Operations to join their management team and lay the foundation for growth of their US business. Their growing customer base includes some of the largest financial institutions in the U.S., (banks and credit unions) that seek the Company’s specialized products and services to optimize their revenue cycle. They are currently expanding their team to meet the rapidly increasing demand for their products and services.


  • Develop and implement operations strategy to allow the Company to minimize cost of processing while maximizing client satisfaction.
  • Focus on scalability of process to ensure that operations can meet the delivery requirements of the sales pipeline.
  • Establish a training program to allow new staff to rapidly develop into their roles in a potentially high attrition environment.
  • Enhance existing process and BCP infrastructure, helping further guarantee uptime to exceed SLAs.
  • Provide consultancy as a subject matter expert to guide compliance team’s efforts as the Company works to not only meet audit requirements, but also create a secure/healthy environment for client data.
  • Meet the strict technical, financial, and security standards the Company has set in place to provide seamless banking and payment processing products and services.
  • Serve as key member of the executive team


  • Minimum 10 years of successful operations management experience
  • Experience processing payments/transactions for a financial institution/service provider
  • Excellent understanding of financial institutions’ operating requirements as well as the rules and regulations for ACH/Check/Wire processing
  • Focused, methodical approach to creating robust long-term operations procedures that evolves with technology while mitigating any potential customer impact.
  • Track record of managing successful operations teams, including payments processing, exception processing, and statements processing; ability to provide appropriate leadership, coaching, feedback, and resources to develop the team to its fullest potential.
  • Industry experience in areas such as transaction processing, multi-channel payments, core banking and digital banking products and/or services.
