Computer Technologies Consultants (CTC) is seeking a Network Administrator to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) in San Antonio, TX. This is a full time onsite position!

Position Title: Network Administrator

Position Location: Full Time onsite in San Antonio, TX


Daily Responsibilities:                                 

  • Deploy and sustain new or existing information networks, such as LAN, WLAN, WAN, intranets, extranets, and other communications networks.
  • Administers day-to-day sustainment, integrity, security and availability of the network. Perform daily performance monitoring, capacity analysis, and maintain security posture of the network.
  • May assist architecture and engineering with evaluation, making recommendations and testing of network hardware and software products.
  • Creates standard operating procedures, maintenance guides, and knowledge base articles to ensure proper documentation is established for the operational upkeep of the network.
  • Performs network infrastructure maintenance upgrades to ensure a proper security and operational posture is maintained.


Required Years of Experience (min):       

  • 4 years of experience.


Required Degree:           

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • IAT II: IAW Section 3.0 Commercial Certificates for DoD 8570.01-M certificate requirement, CE: Associate (professional preferred) level certificate for supported technology as approved by the COR.


Required Experience:                                  

  • Administer daily operations of network systems, ensuring sustainment, integrity, security, and availability. Perform routine performance monitoring and capacity analysis to optimize network functionality.
  • Deploy and configure new or existing information networks such as LAN, WLAN, WAN, intranets, and extranets, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Provide technical support for network issues, troubleshooting and resolving problems to maintain network stability and security. Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to evaluate and recommend network hardware and software products.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, maintenance guides, and knowledge base articles to ensure comprehensive documentation. Perform network infrastructure maintenance upgrades to sustain security and operational posture.


Required Clearance:

  • Tier 3 (T3)/Public Trust (min.)
