Computer Technologies Consultants (CTC) is seeking a Web Services Engineer to support the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, MD. This is a full time, onsite position on a long term contract.

Position Title: Web Services Engineer

Position Location: NIH campus in Bethesda, MD


Daily Responsibilities:

  • Senior Web Services Engineer manages, maintains, and monitors the TIBCO Infrastructure administration and maintenance. Manage Salesforce implementation and its native APIs. Collaborate with NIH Web Services critical partners and customers to jumpstart their own integration projects. 
  • Senior Web Services Engineer conducts TIBCO research and upgrades, configures the firewalls and troubleshoots the system.
  • Web Services Engineer manages, maintains, and monitors the Unix administration and maintenance. 
  • Web Services Engineer configures the firewalls and troubleshoots the system.
  • Web Services Engineer is responsible for operating system and proxy upgrades


Required Years of Experience (min):

  • 8+ years of experience


Required Degree:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field


Required Experience:

  • Hands-on expertise with TIBCO EAI products such as TIBCO BusinessWorks, TIBCO BusinessWorks, Adapters, TIBCO EMS, TIBCO Active-Matrix suite, SOA deliveries and Web Services orchestration.
  • Build an application network using API-led connectivity with Anypoint.
  • Use the Anypoint Platform to discover, design, build, deploy, manage, and govern APIs.
  • Connect to databases, files, SOAP and Restful web services, SaaS applications, JMS queues.
  • Add application logic, handle errors, and transform data using MuleSoft DataWeave.
  • Develop data formats like XML, CSV, and JSON procedures.
  • Develop integration technologies using HTTP, JMS, JDBC, REST, and SOAP.
  • Structure applications to facilitate development and deployment.


Required Clearance:

  • Candidates must be able to secure and maintain Federal Government security clearances.
