Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Division (NSWCPHD), a Department of Defense entity responsible for research and development, test and evaluation, engineering and fleet support organization for the Navy’s ships, submarines, military watercraft and unmanned vehicles.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or an equivalent technical degree from an accredited college or university.
- Eight (8) years’ experience in network security (CCNP-Routing or CCNP Security)
- Strong experience with Cisco Prime Infrastructure
- Understanding of IEEE 802.11 protocols
- Familiarity with TCP/IP (specifically Layers 3/4), and switching and routing protocols (internet standards and general architecture) and associated hardware.
Required Certification
- Must demonstrate at the time of proposal possession of the following IAT Level III CISSP/CCNP-Routing or CCNP Security
Security Clearance:
- Must currently possess an active Secret clearance (min.)
