Position Title: Oracle SQL Developer

Position Location: Government site in Annapolis Junction, MD

Description:                                 

• Write code, develop features, and maintain applications using Object-Oriented Programming principles.  
• Utilize PowerBuilder or develop a strong proficiency in the platform for software development projects. 
• Work with SQL and relational databases to extract and manipulate data for reporting purposes. 
• Analyze complex problems and devise efficient solutions within the software environment. 
• Address user issues, debug and fix bugs, and enhance system performance through iterative improvements

Qualifications:       

• Twelve (12) years of experience in software development/ engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Sixteen (16) years of software development experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. 
• Demonstrated experience in applying Object-Oriented Programming principles in software development projects. 
• Understanding of PowerBuilder or a strong willingness to acquire proficiency in the platform. 
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases. 
• Ability to analyze complex problems and develop solutions efficiently. 
• Understanding of how to extract and manipulate data from databases to generate reports.  

Desired Experience:                                  

• Experience managing the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) to include requirements definition, design, development, test, deployment, and sustainment   
• Experience with PowerBuilder  

Required Clearance:

• Active TSSCI clearance with Full Scope poly
