Job Description:
We are seeking a Virtualization Administrator to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Division (NSWCPHD), a Department of Defense entity responsible for research and development, test and evaluation, engineering and fleet support organization for the Navy’s ships, submarines, military watercraft and unmanned vehicles.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or an equivalent technical degree from an accredited college or university.
- Three (3) years experience administering a VMware Virtual Environment, which should include extensive knowledge of and experience with installation, configuration, integration, backups, troubleshooting and problem resolution for servers associated with a VMware Virtual Infrastructure such as ESXi and vCenter Servers.
- Experience should also include configuring new virtual machines (VM’s) and Windows Server Operating experience.
Required Certification
- IAT Level III: CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH
Security Clearance:
- Must currently possess an active Secret clearance (min.)
