Position Title: Systems Analyst 

Position Location: This position is currently remote and Arlington VA State Department campus.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Meet and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to establish project scope, system goals, and requirements.
• Elicit requirements to understand the purpose of reports and dashboards.
• Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams.
• Provide high level data mapping between systems for purposes of reporting and analytics.
• Extract and analyze data from databases.
• Create reports based on user requirements.
• Create easy to read, visually appealing and informative dashboards.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures, monitor systems health, gather system statistics, and troubleshoot reported errors and alarms.
• Assist with upgrades of information systems as needed.

Required Years of Experience (min):

• 2-5 years experience working with information technologies and systems analysis.

Required Degree:

• BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related IT discipline

Required Experience:

• Strong data extraction and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions.
• Proven ability to develop reports and user friendly, informative dashboards.
• Strong high-level understanding and knowledge of the principles and practices associated with databases and application coding.
• Preference for experience in a learning/training environment
• Working knowledge of the C# programming language to support data extraction activities.
• Excellent analytical skills.

Required Clearance:

• Secret or Public Trust with ability to obtain Secret Clearance
